The green bottle blue has a metallic blue body, green carapace and orange abdomen. It comes from a dry coastal area and covers its enclosure in thick webbing.
Keep it mostly dry with good ventilation and a water dish. Slings like one slightly moist corner. Give plenty of anchor points like cork, twigs and plants so it can web.
It is a good first tarantula for a keeper who wants to watch, not handle.
