The rhombic egg-eater is a harmless South African snake that eats only bird eggs. It swallows the egg whole, cracks it inside the throat and brings up the shell.
You need a steady supply of small eggs like finch, quail or small chicken eggs, sized to the snake's head. This is the main challenge in keeping it.
Give a warm side of 28 to 30 °C and a cool side of 24 °C. It is a native species, so check the permit rules for your province.
