The golden blue leg baboon is a South African baboon spider with blue legs and a golden carapace. It is a burrowing species from scrubland in the Eastern Cape.

Give deep substrate so it can dig, keep it mostly dry and give a water dish. It webs its burrow entrance and often stays out of sight.

Native baboon spiders are protected in some provinces. Buy only captive-bred animals and check the permit rules for your province.
