The African fat-tailed gecko is a calm, ground-dwelling gecko that looks like a leopard gecko. It needs more humidity than a leopard gecko.
Give a warm spot of 30 to 32 °C and a cool side of 24 to 26 °C. Keep humidity at 50 to 70% and give a humid hide with damp moss.
Feed dusted insects every 2 to 3 days for adults and daily for juveniles.
