The shiny burrowing scorpion is a South African species with a glossy black body and yellow legs. It digs deep burrows and comes out at night to hunt.
Give deep, firm substrate that holds a burrow. Keep the top dry and the lower layers slightly moist. A water dish is useful.
Native scorpions may need a permit in some provinces. Buy captive-bred animals where you can.
