The Transvaal thick-tailed scorpion is one of the most dangerous scorpions kept as a pet. It has a thick black tail and can spray venom as well as sting. It is only for experienced keepers.
Keep it in a secure, lockable enclosure away from children and pets. Keep the setup dry and sandy, with a warm area and a small water dish or a light mist on one corner once a week.
