The OBT is a bright orange, heavy-webbing tarantula. It is hardy and easy to keep alive, but it is one of the most defensive species in the hobby.
Keep it dry with a water dish and give many anchor points. It fills the enclosure with web tunnels.
Plan every maintenance step. Never put your hand in the enclosure. Its reputation is well earned.
