The curly hair is a calm, hardy ground tarantula with golden curly hairs. It is one of the best species for a first tarantula.
Keep one part of the substrate slightly moist and give a water dish. It likes to dig, so give it depth. It usually has a good appetite.
It was known as Brachypelma albopilosum before.
